Natu Patel- Is a Director of Region III, Secretary of ELFA, and C.O.O. of Best Holiday Inc. a Hotel Management and Development company. Natu has both a Chemical and Physics degree and began as a technical director, advancing to production manager, then decided to get involved in the business of the hospitality Industry in 1979. Beginning with a 21 room property in Fort lawn, SC. Natu has grown his business by his vision to advance his hospitality business. In the early 1980’s he built a new Econo Lodge in Rock Hill, SC. Then he went into land development and later built two more Econo Lodges, other brands and independent hotels, office buildings and continues in the land development. He is a pioneer in the Indian community in hotel industries. Natu is an active member of ELFA and has been since the early 1980’s. He has expanded more business to franchise and independent hotels in South Carolina and Georgia.

Natu has served on ELFA board for many years and is very active in various committees with Econo Lodge and Choice Hotel International throughout the years. Natu is passionate about ELFA members and their goals to “help the owners excel to make our brand great.”

The board makes decisions regarding what is best for ELFA members, stressing that the end goal is to keep bringing our guests back and raising our bottom line. My goal is to listen and find what our region members’ interests are and find out what the issues are, and to maximize our tools that we already have; such as co-ops, monitoring and recommendations to Choice Corporation and ELFA members to make our region and our brand great.
