Gary is currently a Principal with Hospitality Investment Services (Hotel Development and Brokerage), and CFO / Chief Administrative Officer of MountainTop Management (Hotel Management for owned properties and third-party owners including individuals and institutions).

The West Memphis property has been owned and operated by the family for over 25 years, with over 15 years as a Choice Hotels - Econo Lodge licensee. Gary has been a member of the ELFA board since 2004 and has served as Secretary since 2005. Gary is married to hotelier and optometrist Patricia Koester, O.D. and is raising son Kyle (4 years old)./ Region.
