Dilip Verkaria, is ELFA Region XI Director. He has his bachelors in Electrical Engineering from DeVry Uninversity in Long Beach. After working in the technology field for a couple years, he then decided that hospitality was the right place for him. His father worked as a manager for an independent motel, so he was raised in the hospitality industry in CA. This is his first hotel property and hopefully more to come.

He joined ELFA because he saw this as a window of opportunity that could benefit our brand, by representing his region and meeting with other Econo Lodge owners and discussing issues that could give our brand a lift compared to others. He believes that by working together with ELFA, franchisees and Choice, we can make a difference for our brand and take it to the next level.
